Press the START button to attempt to restart the saw blade, or stop the saw by holding the STOP button.
What to do next
- If the saw was trying to make a long scarf cut, try to push/pull on the side of the timber to reduce the load on the blade and hit the START button. The saw will then try resume cutting if possible.
- Check if the feeder drive rollers require cleaning.
- Check that all of the side and top nylon clamp rollers can spin freely - the bearings have not seized.
- Try to recut the stick/member using a different piece of timber.
- Try changing the saw blade.
